DESCRIPTION:Westport Weston Family YMCA has been home to the Water Rat Swim Team\, a year-round\, nationally recognized competitive swim program that was established in 1949. \nThe Water Rats compete against Connecticut YMCA teams in dual swim meets state wide along with USA Swimming-sanctioned meets at the regional\, state and national levels. Water Rats are a registered USA Swimming Club\, and a member of Connecticut Swimming\, Inc.\, one of 59 Local Swim Committees in the country.
