Lifeguard Training & Certification

Our Family YMCA is not only our community’s leading provider of swim lessons and water-safety instruction, we also host Lifeguard Certification and Re-certification courses several times a year. The training is conducted by Red Cross instructors.

Lifeguard Certification and Re-certification Courses

The Westport Weston Family YMCA hosts training’s for new lifeguards and to re-certify current lifeguards with a combination of online training sessions and a one-day, instructor-led skills session in the YMCA’s Strittmatter Family Aquatics Center.
