Swim Lessons

At the Westport Weston Family YMCA, we believe that it is our mission to build more, confident swimmers. To meet this goal, we offer swim lessons for infants, toddlers, children, teens and adults. All ages can participate in swim lessons in groups or privately.

Competitive swimming has had a long, successful tradition at the Family YMCA.  The Water Rat Swim Team is a nationally recognized swim club for youth and teens. The Family Y also offers Masters swimming options for adults who are interested in competitive lap swimming.

Aqua Fitness

Looking for a high-energy, low-impact way to exercise the whole body? The Family Y’s Aqua Fitness program is a perfect way to get fit in a fun way with fun people. Aqua Fitness classes take place in both the lap pool and the recreational pool.

Point to Point 2020

The Westport Weston Family YMCA has made the difficult decision to cancel the 42nd annual point to point this year. Due to poor tides, as well as COVID-19, we do not feel we can run a successful event. Participant Safety is our biggest priority. Unfortunately there is very little we can do to socially distance swimmers during this event. We look forward to Point to Point in 2021. Please contact Aquatics Director, Jennifer McDonald with any questions.
