Available for students enrolled in the Westport and Weston school districts entering grades K-5, our After School Care Program provides quality care for school age children in a safe, nurturing and enriching environment while supporting the needs of busy parents. Transportation to the Y is included from local schools upon school dismissal and care is provided until 6:00 PM.
Students enjoy STEM, art, outdoor play at the Mahackeno Outdoor Center, social-emotional learning, and more. A nut-free snack is provided (families may send their own nut-free snack if preferred).

2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR
- Tuesday, September 2, 2025 to Friday, June 12, 2026
- The program follows the Westport Public School calendar and runs on normal school days as well as scheduled early dismissals
- Care is provided from school dismissal to 6:00 PM
TRANSPORTATION DETAILS:
- YMCA buses transport students from Long Lots, Saugatuck, Greens Farms, Weston Intermediate School, and Hurlbutt Elementary to the Y.
- District buses transport students from Coleytown and Kings Highway.

REGISTRATION DETAILS:
Registration is month-to-month. Payments are auto-drafted on the 1st of each month. You may cancel a future month before it begins without penalty. Rates depend on the number of days per week selected. Schedules may change between months (not mid-month). Program runs on regular school days and scheduled early dismissals. Enrollment requires an updated physical, immunization record, and any necessary medication forms on file.
