WWFY SWIMMERS SHINE IN 2023-2024 YMCA NATIONAL RANKINGS
The WWFY is proud to announce that 13 of our swimmers have been ranked among the top 16 in their events across the nation for the 2023-2024 swim year (September 2023 – August 2024), as published by the YMCA of the USA. This outstanding achievement highlights the exceptional talent and dedication of the Y’s swim team.
Among these 13 swimmers, three have earned the prestigious distinction of being ranked first in their respective events. This remarkable accomplishment underscores the YMCA’s commitment to fostering excellence in its athletes and providing a supportive environment for personal and athletic growth.
The following swimmers from the Westport Weston Family YMCA have been named to the top 16 rankings:

- Jack Drummey (Ranked 1st in his event)
- Kate Murray (Ranked 1st in her event)

The YMCA of the USA rankings, which identify the top 16 swimmers in each event for athletes aged 11 and older, are a highly respected benchmark in the swimming community. The fact that so many Westport Weston Family YMCA swimmers have earned a spot on this prestigious list is a testament to the strength of the Y’s coaching staff, training programs, and the hard work of its athletes.
We are incredibly proud of these swimmers and their hard work throughout the season. Being named to the YMCA National Rankings is a significant achievement, and to have 13 swimmers recognized is a reflection of their dedication and the strong swimming culture we’ve cultivated at the Westport Weston Family YMCA.
