CAMP MINI MACK

WHERE FUN & LEARNING MEETS ADVENTURE FOR AGES 3-6

Camp Mini Mack is a traditional summer day camp for children ages 3–6. We provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where young campers thrive through engaging, age-appropriate activities that spark creativity and curiosity. With small group sizes and a 1:5 staff-to-child ratio, each child receives personalized attention. Campers enjoy daily swim lessons to improve their swimming skills and learn essential water safety, while a variety of balanced play and learning take place across well-equipped indoor and outdoor spaces, and under our summer camp tents.

Kathy is an absolute gem! Managing a summer camp is a very challenging job with a lot of dynamics to manage- parents, children, counselors, overall program components etc. Kathy keeps it real and does an outstanding job in managing the overall camp experience for everyone. I was so impressed! My son's aides were also amazing! Bella and Noah, thank you so much!

Thank you for such a great few weeks! Charlie and Oliver absolutely loved coming to camp everyday. They gained so much confidence and got to have so many new experiences. Their swimming improved so much! Thank you to all the counselors for their kindness and care, and for making the program so fun. A big thank you to Kathy for organizing such a great camp, and being so communicative!! We are excited to come back next year!

Kathy is always so wonderful at drop off, and makes sure my kids are ready to go, and can find their groups.

Sophie and Noah are mentioned daily in our house! Both of our kids feel very safe with their counselors. Our younger son is sometimes apprehensive about going to camp, but as soon as he sees Sophie at drop off, he's very happy to go with her. We had a great experience with Noah, who was playing around with our son and tipping his hat back. My son did not like that, but didn't want to tell Noah, so he stopped wearing his hat to camp. Noah noticed, and asked why. Our son told him that he didn't like him tipping his hat, and so Noah apologized and told him he wouldn't do it again. It was a great demonstration of how Noah relates to the kids in a fun way, but also pays attention to where they are emotionally and what they need. Truly thoughtful! Our son adores him and is always wondering what he'll think of things.

The team is incredible. Maybe too much. I hear more about the counselors than other kids, but she is drawn to adults so that's not surprising. It's lovely to see your team excited when they greet her as she walks over to them. She can be so quiet that I worry sometimes she might be under the radar when I'm not around so it's good to see she's standing out. Everything has been easy and everyone I have worked with is so helpful. Honestly, I can't say enough about how this has been. I wasn't even sure she would want to attend at all, so when she came back that first day excited to that she gets to go back tomorrow I was over the moon. I think that is due to the environment your team has created which is fun and exciting and creative and playful. Thank you. Mike Romano, Aila's dad.

My child has his own cheering section in this program. It brings me tremendous comfort knowing how much he’s beloved by the grownups in charge.

Kathleen is super responsive; she's positive; it felt like she knew my daughter by the second week and it made it easy to drop off my daughter and not have concerns. The other counselors all seemed friendly and great. I was a nervous, first-time YMCA summer camp parent, but I will definitely be returning and hope that it's ask well run next year as it was this year!

My five year old was bummed on Saturday and Sunday between camp weeks because he didn’t get to see his friends. For a kid who lives for Saturdays, this is a huge compliment.

Kathy and the counselors were very welcoming and accommodating. My daughter enjoyed her camp experience and as a parent so did I. I look forward to having her return next summer. Thank you for everything!
