April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. As part of our commitment to protecting the children in our community, we’re participating in the Five Days of Action – to increase awareness of child sexual abuse and empower & equip us all to prevent it. We are always commited to the safety of all children in our community.

KNOW that child sexual abuse occurs and look for and understand how to prevent it. Understand an organization’s child protection practices by asking questions like these provided by Praesidium.

SEE and be aware when appropriate boundaries are crossed. As a parent, caregiver, coach, or volunteer, it is up to us to ensure a youth sports environment is safe. Learn how you can help prevent child sexual abuse in youth sports at US Center For Safe Sport

RESPOND to any and all disclosure, discovery or suspicion of dangers that put children at risk, such as cyber bullying, and online enticement. Learn ways to keep kids safe and respond to online victimization at MissingKids.org.

KNOW. SEE. RESPOND is a year-round commitment and pledge to the children in our care. Stay connected informed by visiting Five Days of Action
