Looking to achieve your health and wellness goals in an efficient and effective way? Working with a qualified fitness trainer and coach at the Y, you’ll receive the expertise, experience, and inspiration to accelerate your results. We offer a variety of opportunities in personal training, small group training, nutrition coaching and more to help you to help reach new heights in your fitness endeavors, no matter what your goals are.

All personal training clients receive complimentary access to additional training tools that will better help you track your progress (and not just your weight) by going beyond the scale to see what you’re made of with monthly InBody assessments and the benefits of custom workout and nutrition plans via the Trainerize App.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU MEET WITH A PERSONAL TRAINER?
The number of sessions needed with a personal trainer depends on your goals, degree of fitness, availability, and financial situation. For the best results, it is generally advised to meet a personal trainer at least once or twice every week.

There are numerous benefits of regular personal training sessions. They guarantee your fitness routine’s regularity and accountability as you are more likely to adhere to your training routine and stay motivated if you make regular appointments. Second, A personal trainer will monitor your progress, alter exercises, and establish new objectives as you go with frequent check-ins. The InBody Scale has revolutionized how we measure weight, body fat, water retention, and muscle mass, giving you the knowledge to make better decisions for your fitness journey.

In short, the InBody machine provides you with a detailed breakdown of your body composition to better help you analyze your needs and set your goals. The machine uses bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) to accurately measure body fat, water, lean mass, and overall weight. It’s non-invasive and quick, providing you a comprehensive understanding of your body in only 30 seconds.

The InBody is located in our Wellness Center and available to WWFY members, all in the name of reaching a healthier you – from the inside out!

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO TAKE AN INBODY TEST?

  • Health cannot be defined by the number on the scale! To better understand your balance between muscle, fat, and water. If you measure yourself at home tomorrow and see you lost two pounds, are you happy?
  • How would that shift if you learned you lost two pounds of fat but gained two pounds of muscle?
  • The InBody will give you a detailed breakdown of your body composition so you can accurately measure changes over time and better assist with your goals or identify problem areas as you move forward towards your goals.

HOW ACCURATE IS INBODY?

  • Lean body mass (LBM) and % Bodyfat (PBF) have been extensively validated in a wide variety of populations to gold standard methods – including dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) and hydrostatic weighing.

USING THE INBODY IS AS SIMPLE AS 1-2-3!

  • Stand on scale and input demographic info.
  • Hold handles for approximately 30 seconds.
  • Receive your detailed report with weight, lean body mass, body fat percentage, basal metabolic rate, water content.
