SHOWTIME EXHIBITION GYMNASTICS TEAM

Founded in 1989, the YMCA’s Showtime Exhibition Team captivates audiences around the community, country and world. This unique team program combines the skills of dance, gymnastics and elite cheer to music ranging from classical to Broadway to hip-hop.

Showtime is ranked one of the top exhibition teams in the country and is consistently known for bringing home awards for choreography, stunting, acro, dance and tumbling year after year. Under the direction of Sally Silverstein, the team traveled to Helsinki, Finland, in July 2015 and Austria in 2019 to participate in the World Gymnaestrada as part of the USA Delegation.

The Westport Weston Family YMCA Showtime Exhibition team competes on Regional National and International events. For tryout information, class placement, practice days and times, please contact:

To be a part of this program, one must move up through the Family Y gymnastics classes. Any exceptions must be approved by Megan Willett after a tryout.
