ADAPTIVE PROGRAMS

IN THE NEWS

In Fall 2023, the WWFY “Team Happy” played in their first Special Olympics Unified Basketball Tournament and went on to place first for their division in the State Tournament! “It’s not about the color of the medal, but the process. These participants have worked really hard improving their skills, attention, and teamwork. It is so rewarding to see their progress and dedication shine through”, said Christina I. Scherwin, Chief Operations Officer of the Westport Weston Family YMCA.
