Westport Weston Family YMCA Gymnastics Team Shines at Regional Championships

The Westport Weston Family YMCA Gymnastics Competition Team delivered an exceptional performance at the Regional Championships this past weekend, earning top honors across multiple levels and age divisions. Demonstrating dedication, talent, and true sportsmanship, the team brought home numerous individual accolades and impressive team placements.

Highlights of the Weekend

  • Level 2 Team: 1st Place Overall

  • Level 3 Team: 2nd Place

  • Level 4 Team: 2nd Place

  • Level 6 Team: 4th Place

  • Level 7 Team: 1st Place

  • Level 8 Team: 3rd Place

In a standout achievement, Julia Labreche (Level 3) and Ruby Kramer (Level 2) were crowned 1st Place All-Around Champions in their respective levels. The two gymnasts also tied for the 4th highest All-Around score of the entire weekend with an outstanding 38.225.
