The Westport Weston Family YMCA Gymcats delivered an outstanding performance at the USA Gymnastics (USAG) State Level 6–10 Championship Meet this past weekend, showcasing the program’s strength, depth, and dedication. Athletes competed with confidence and composure, earning top finishes across multiple events and demonstrating exceptional team spirit.

Leading the celebration is Geralyn Zagger, who made history as the first Westport YMCA gymnast to qualify for the Regional Championship Meet. Zagger will represent both the Gymcats and the State of Connecticut as an All-Star at the Regional Level 6 Championships, taking place April 17–19 in Springfield, Massachusetts.

The Gymcats also celebrated multiple individual achievements, including State Champion titles on Vault for Layla Levine, Geralyn Zagger, and Sarah Saeed. In the All-Around competition, Levine earned 3rd place, Zagger placed 4th, and Saeed secured 7th overall.
