Matrix Cardio Equipment

At the end of August, we will be upgrading our entire cardio fleet in the Wellness Center and Indoor Cycling Studio! Below are some changes you will see in the very near future:

  • Our cardio upgrade increases our existing fleet of equipment by the following:
    • stair climbers by 1
    • stationary bikes by 2
    • treadmills by 4
  • We will be adding, for the first time:
    • a low-intensity recumbent cross trainer
    • 6 “ascent trainer” ellipticals
    • 3 specialized treadmills that pitch to 30 degrees
    • a powerless, high-intensity treadmill that simulates wind sprinting and sled-pushing

 

 

 

 

 

  • The cardio upgrade will include the latest Indoor Cycling bikes from Keiser, the M3i which comes with:
    • An easy-to-use app that can view and store your data live from your workout
    • Guaranteed, and certified power output resulting in the highest level of consistency
    • A “media tray” to easily hold cell phones and tablets on the bike
    • Easy-to-adjust seat and handlebars
    • The same super-smooth and quiet ride you have come to expect from Keiser

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Expresso virtual reality bikes will be replaced with the latest model, which includes:
    • Larger, HD touchscreen (for the first time ever)!
    • Digitally-remastered courses
    • New Studio SWEAT classes
    • Enhanced “games”

  • New Matrix equipment will include:
    • Larger, higher resolution touch screen on each machine
    • Sprint 8 Training program – efficient 20-minute sessions that anyone can fit into their busy lifestyle
    • Virtual Active workouts
    • Interactive mobile app for creating workouts, data tracking, sharing, and much more
    • Optimized touch screen app interface (including Netflix), designed specifically for fitness but with easy access to web content
