PICKLEBALL FOR ALL
It’s not that pickleball is BETTER than tennis, it’s just a lot more fun!
Pickleball is a competitive workout that’s easy to learn and play or all ages and abilities. Played on a court smaller than tennis with a net, a paddle and a ball (similar to that of a whiffle ball), it can be enjoyed inside or out. You can play singles or doubles and the scoring and rules are easy to follow. Whether you’re an avid player or have never played before, come on over to the Westport Weston Family YMCA to enjoy a competitive pickleball game in a fun and social atmosphere, where we host drop-in play and instructional clinics.

Whether you are new to the sport and looking to learn every aspect of pickleball including what equipment is right for you, shot technique, rules, court positioning and basic strategy or you want to refine your skills and learn some new techniques, these clinics are for all.

GYMNASIUM POLICIES FOR PICKLEBALL
- Shirts & sneakers must be worn at all times
- Street shoes are not allowed in the Gymnasium.
- No food allowed in the Gym.
- Water is the only beverage allowed in the Gymnasium. Coffee & sports drinks are not allowed.
- Only staff may raise & lower the curtain divider and hoops. Please ask staff for assistance.
- No swearing and/or other inappropriate language.
