EXPLORE STEM THROUGH VEX ROBOTICS
CODE, CREATE, IMAGINE
In partnership with Huntington Learning Center, this hands-on STEM program invites students in grades K–2 and 3–5 to bring their ideas to life. Meeting once a week for 1.5 hours, participants use VEX 123 or VEX GO kits. Through fun challenges and projects, they explore engineering and coding while developing logic, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Whether navigating obstacle courses or completing missions, students discover how exciting and rewarding STEM learning can be.
CODE & GO WITH VEX 123
Young inventors explore the exciting world of robotics using VEX 123 robots and LEGO SPIKE Essential! Through fun challenges, storytelling, and hands-on building and play, students in grades K–2 learn the basics of coding, sequencing, problem-solving, and teamwork as they bring their ideas to life.
Students will use the VEX 123 robot to practice simple coding and logical thinking, then transition to LEGO SPIKE Essential, where they design and build their own creations using familiar LEGO pieces and beginner-friendly coding. This combination encourages creativity, collaboration, and confidence while introducing core computer science and engineering concepts in an age-appropriate way.

INNOVATORS LAB: ENGINEERING WITH VEX
Get ready to bring your ideas to life with VEX GO Robotics! In this exciting, hands-on course for students in grades 3–5, you’ll learn how to build and program your very own robots using the VEX GO robotics kit. Meeting once a week for 1.5 hours, you’ll explore the world of engineering and coding through creative challenges and fun projects. Along the way, you’ll develop important logic, problem-solving, and analysis skills—all while working as part of a team and having a blast! Whether you’re building a robot to navigate an obstacle course or programming it to complete a mission, you’ll discover just how much fun learning STEM can be. This class is offered in conjunction with Huntington Learning Center.
