HEALTHY LIVING PROGRAMS
We understand that not all fitness goals are made equally, and that there are many in search of targeted training and programming to meet their specific needs. To that end, the Westport Weston Family YMCA offers the following programs to meet the needs of our diverse communities.
This is a 12-week exercise program for cancer survivors with two sessions per week. We will be implementing this program and will have more information on our website shortly.
PARKINSON’S BODY & MIND
Research shows that consistent exercise benefits people with Parkinson?s Disease, helping to protect certain areas of the brain affected by the disease. Exercises that focus on balance, coordination, and agility, help those affected by Parkinson’s to maintain higher levels of function and greater quality of life.
YOUTH FITNESS PROGRAMS
Teach your child healthy exercise habits by enrolling in programs like Youth Yoga where they can learn techniques to calm the mind and relax the body, or Youth Fitness Conditioning where youth are introduced to Wellness Center equipment and engage in a variety of exercises.
