Our swimmers had a great showing.

57 senior and age group swimmers attended the NSSC-MIT Invitational in Cambridge, Massachusetts from December 12-16, 2019.

Annam Olasewere broke Meredith Wecker’s 29-year-old 11/12 Girls team record in the 200 Free in a time of 1:59.26.  Annam also broke Kate Murray’s 11/12 Girls record in the 100 Free in a time of 53.66 and placed third at the meet in the individual high point scores for 11/12 Girls.

On the boys’ side, Parker Lenoce broke Daniel Williams’ seven-year-old 13/14 Boys team record in the 1650 in a time of 16:09.73.  Parker also broke his own team 13/14 Boys team records in the 200 IM in a time of 1:56.42, the 100 Back in a time of 53.05, and the 500 Free in a time of 4:41.17.

We end the first part of the 2019-2020 Short Course Season with our very own Blue vs. Red Intra-squad meet on Saturday, December 21st. So come join the fun and maybe even participate in the parent/child relays! The Parents Club will provide hot chocolate and other goodies on the observation deck following the meet.
